The hand supports can be installed
in combination with the Ottobock
modular arm supports. If a
particular type of hand support is
not required, flat hand supports
may be beneficial. They should
also be used as the basis for
custom fabrication. Since the
modular hand supports are offered
in various versions, a therapist or
technician can decide which
design best meets the patient’s
needs. A set of straps with
hook-and-loop closures can be
combined with the channel
forearm supports. The hand
supports are made of polyurethane
foam.
